The points on the website are automatically updated based on a feed The Sun usually provides. Unfortunately The Sun have made it a lot more difficult this season. Therefore it looks like I'm going to have to populate them manually. As you can imagine this takes time so points won't be updated as frequently but I will do my best.
In the future I may have to abandon The Sun's points system entirely. I plan on adding a way to feed in all match data including goal scorers, bookings and the whoscored.com player ratings. This way league administrators can manually configure how many points they award for everything. This is looking more likely for next season now.

I'm pleased to announce that Fantasy League Manager will be available throughout the world cup. As of today all the players have been added and points will be updated regularly throughout the tournament.
There is one minor detail to point out and that is a new rule the sun has introduced to force every team to include 1 England player. There is no inbuilt validation on the site to currently handle this although it may be built in the near future depending on time. Until then it will have to come down to the league owner to administer this if they wish to enforce this rule.

Due to an issue with our backups we lost 3 hours of data this morning and therefore any transfers made in that time would be lost. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Hi, Just to let everyone know that the monthly points scores for January will include the following games scheduled for February 1st:
Liverpool v Chelsea, 16:00
Newcastle v Sunderland, 13:30
This is due to the Sun not updating their points until Monday morning. I thought i should mention this before someone says i frigged the system WHEN i win the monthly prize this month :). Sorry if this causes any problems but there's not alot i can do about this.

After the rush to get the dream team done in the last week, some people missed the deadline. Therefore we decided that anyone who registered their teams before the end of the international break just gone would receive points from the start. To make things fair with existing managers all transfers have been rescinded.

The season has finally began after a fantastic Euro 2008 which unfortunately we had no one to cheer on. However it was good to see Spain win something for a change. Anywayz the first update will come shortly. I'm still sorting out a few things with my mini league but once this has all been resolved (hopefully by Friday/Saturday) I will be updating the points. I hope your teams started off good. I was relatively pleased with my dream team performance but not so much the team i support (Man Utd). Best of luck this season, let the battles commence :).

Hi, with the dream team underway i will be updating the points shortly. I just need to make sure everyone has joined my league.
If you have added a team after the cut off date (12:30 Saturday 12th) you will only start receiving points from the next Saturday. If you would like the dates rolled back so you start receiving points now please ask your league owner to contact me and i will sort it out.
